Need Your Opinion PLEASE

OK everyone reading this I value your opinion. Lets say you were an innovator always the first to do something no one has done before in a certain area. Lets say you for FREE taught many people how to do this out of the kindness of your heart. Keep in mind you studied for 14 months then taught people in 1 month how to do this skill.

Lets say you found a way to make some money off this skill. Then 3 weeks later one of the people you taught these methods to sold more or less the exact same skill with the same keywords on the same website using the skills you taught.

Then lets say YOU are the one that found this out…He or She did not tell you you stumbled upon it yourself and saw more or less what you spent 14 months mastering was in the same sector the same site and you shared your knowledge to help get this person there. How would you feel. KEEP IN MIND YOU FOUND OUT ON YOUR OWN… Thx Justin

Kred Influencers I made it!

Kred Blog

Kred Influencers: Justin Matthew

by  on MAY 22, 2012 in KRED PEOPLE
Justin Matthew is a Social Media Specialist and viral video maker for popular YouTube networkHouseholdHacker, which has over 1.2 million subscribers and 167 million views for fun science education videos like “Defying Gravity” and “Boil Water With Ice!”  Follow Justin at @JMHHacker or read his social media tips at https://www.jmhhacker.com/.

What does being influential online mean to you?
I love Social Media and am a member of at least 20 different platforms.  I help create, act, write and research viral Youtube videos that teach people about Science, Technology, Computer Tips, DIY, Gaming, Education and more.   Of course I use all our social media platforms to promote a new video or tweet a cool fact about science, technology, DIY culture or gaming.  We have one of the most popular Science shows on the internet with over 60 videos and 40 million views!  We also love to have fun with the occasional Prank.
The goal is to create content that helps people get smarter.  I have a blast doing my job and making a living on the internet, and I hope everyone finds my content interesting.  I love technology, science, art, gaming and much more. We appreciate all the support, so please don’t hesitate to say hello.

How do you use your influence to better your community?
It means everything to me. I spend hours a day trying to  help others.  I know that may sound routine but I can back it up. I started a second Twitter channel called @TheJmhhacker to support content creators.  I also founded a forum with the sole purpose of offering support and advice to each other.

How does generosity enhance your online relationships?

Generosity enhances every relationship.  It goes hand in hand with influence. I try to interact and care about everyone that contacts me and go out of my way to try to help them.  Without generosity, I would not be where I am today.

How do you integrate your real life experiences with your online identity?

I live offline the same way I live online: very competitively!  I won the Orlando tennis championship 5 times and now I use this as a platform to help and coach other players.
I don’t think it would be possible to live two separate lives: one online and one offline.  You are who you are!

What advice do you have for someone who wants to make viral videos their career?

Never give up.  The key to being in social media is being motivated and patient every day.  Always try new content and continue to fight until you become a master of it.  I also recommend setting a schedule each day for spending time online engaging with others to increase your influence.

Influence and Illuminati

Influence gets its core in astrology.  Centuries later the idea of being “under the influence” took on a wholly different meaning. communication.”

The idea was that “opinion leaders” “those in control” or “THEY” filter information between the mass media and US, and it was their encounters with discussion among those elite “influentials” about new information that really drove the way citizens formed opinions and made decisions. The whole illuminati thing!! The scholars’ insight was that individuals are influenced more by the people with whom they interact than by the messages they get from mass media. The theory was accepted by marketers, political practitioners, communications gurus, public health advocates, and those who study  innovation and ideas.

One of the many disruptions caused by the digital age has been to the two-step theory.  The digital disruption has not challenged a core tenet of two-step proponents that influence flows from encounters with others. But three revolutions in the digital space have brought new kinds of actors, new kinds of encounters, and new kinds of information into the influence marketplace.first revolution is the rise of the Internet, especially broadband connections. Today is an unprecedented explosion of storytelling and influence. Sometimes the influence is felt through individual interactions; at other times the sheer weight of anonymous crowds does the job. And “influentials” do not necessarily come with credentials.

Amateur experts are much in evidence in every field. I AM ONE!! Also some of the most important new influencers in this world are machine algorithms that sort through all this digital content to try to make sense of it. Influence is embedded in Google’s PageRank. The second is tied to the rise of mobile devices and mobile connections. At this moment, 84 percent of American adults and 80 percent of teenagers have cell phones, more than half of adults have laptops with mobile ties, and 11 percent have tablet computers.  63 percent of adults connect to the Internet on the fly.

Mobile connectivity has elevated the importance of just-intime searches and real-time information and insight. As people’s expectations about the availability of others and of information adjust to this always-on reality, influence is exercised in the tap on an app. Decisions and actions that depend on information exchanges can now be much more spur of the moment than in the past. The third revolution relates to social networking sites themselves. Social networks (bunches of friends and acquaintances) have been around forever.

The rise of Facebook in the middle of 2000s has changed information flows through networks and reconfigured influence inside networks. One of the ways in which people cope with information overload is to rely more heavily on others in their social networks to alert them to news of all kinds (big cultural stuff as well as social tidbits), help them evaluate information that is confusing, and become consumers of information that is generated in social media. KLOUT!!!!

There are fortunes to be made in analyzing the data generated by humans and machines to determine how people direct their attention, what messages make a difference as they decide what to do, which interventions through what channels change harmful behavior, and which past activities predict future actions.

If people feel stalked or misunderstood or manipulated as these explorations are under way, the whole enterprise will come crashing down. . Assuming the research is done sensitively and correctly, it is likely that the insights will lead to conclusions that influence can be understood in the same way we are learning to understand say any disease. SO I begin my journey into KLOUT come along with me….

KLOUT BUSTERS

So My friend and I Jay created a new Facebook page today called KLOUT BUSTERS the reason why is quite obvious I write some of those reasons below.

Anyone saying “your Klout score doesn’t matter” is wrong.
I hope this helps build an awareness for any ignorant “experts” out there (Klout haters), and the people that look at our community to stay on top of a changing world while they are busy building a future.

The world is changing. So is the internet.
Here’s how… History of the Internet:

Web 1.0 was based on one-way communication

Web 2.0 introduced two way communication

Web 3.0 is driven by technology that reads and understands activity on the internet and uses that data to make recommendations and perform tasks using artificial intelligence.

Web 3.0 is everyday!

Klout is a Web 3.0 technology. It is being used by computers and people to decide if you are influential, important enough to get a free upgrade to first class, or skilled enough to get a job interview in social media.

My Current Score

There are many ways to use it.
No matter what anyone says, it’s already happening and you can’t stop it. There are over 5,000 groups using the Klout API in their technology.

Last month, Klout had more than 3 billion (3,000,000,000) requests for information from all of their partner development organizations.

Keep in mind this number will only go up as we rely on applications using AI to help us save more time, make smarter decisions, and take advantage of trends as they are happening. It’s not showing any signs of slowing down.

I use Klout to discover others in my field, screen out spammers on twitter, and make a hiring decision. Hell I even got a freelance job out of it! Even though I like to use new technology, I know that I’m not alone on this one. Ready or not, this is happening.

How much value in free goods you could have received since this image mine has tripled.

YOUR Klout matters
How can it not? I’m starting to see these scores everywhere! I see Klout scores in email marketing, social media updates on Twitter or Facebook, and in news articles I read.
This is what I see when you tweet @JMHHACKER840/8. With KLOUT 68

If I only have 2 minutes to respond to tweets from unknown people, who do you think I respond to first? Well I can tell you 86 percent of people are responding and following those with the higher scores.

Like all smart leaders, I use data to make decisions. Klout is data.
Klout will also improve artificial intelligence and automation.
Computers that know who to target will be more efficient.

There will be a time when you are followed, unfollowed, retweeted, or featured in the news based on a computer calculation. That time may be sooner than you think.

Flaws are no excuse to ignore an emerging technology
Yes, there are flaws. Everyone keeps saying that, hoping it will somehow change something.

However, its a moot argument because there are flaws in almost everything that we use today.

It happens. When a technology is in a beta stage, like Klout.

The KLOUT beast will grow no matter what I say and it’s time to GRAB it before you get left behind.

What this shows is your tweet power based on your KLOUT if your score is 10 through 45 forget it your tweet does not have much life. Once you hit 65 you see a MASSIVE increase in the life of your tweet and the chances of getting retweeted. This is a fact not a debate. I noticed when I had a 50 Klout score I hardly got retweeted now I have had tweets retweeted over 167 165 135 etc.

I’m always eager to be proven wrong, I openly declare a challenge to any expert to show me why Klout is not relevant. Tell me why I’m wrong and we can all learn something.

If you are not familiar with KLOUT it attempts to define your impact on the web.
A few months ago, Microsoft gave windows phones to those who have a high Klout score.
Klout is based around your impact, how your content is shared and other indicators.
Klout is about consistency I was able to successfully boost my Klout score nearly overnight once I was able to target specific metrics. By a simple combination of targeting retweets, sharing targeted content and only mentioning certain products I went from a 65 to 68. Does not sound like a lot but at that level it is like going from 20 to 40
I learned KLOUT is about consistency. Klout is purely about consistency which, at the end of the day, is influence. That all for todays KLOUT info Be sure to Join us at KLOUT BUSTERS for more Klout tips.

Are you Hungry to Make it?

Developing Peak Performance

One day, frustrated and beat, but unwilling to quit, a friend I know
devised a new strategy to simplify things, starting with a
mindset makeover. That strategy changed his life, and he is talking about it now about some site you make make 5 bucks per sale…

This friend hit his first $1000 14 days in of profits and 2200 28 days in by following proven,
sometimes little-appreciated, business models to receive amazing results. This is just the begining

He dedicates his time to learning as much as possible,
both in Internet Marketing and in life. He joined the
Fiverr 1 month ago.
You can read more about it on the site https://fiverr.com/jmhhacker

Developing Peak Perdormance

Productivity is the name of the game. I don’t care what you’re doing… creating products, writing
sales copy, driving traffic, etc.
If you can’t do any or all of those tasks efficiently, you will make less money. Period. If it takes
you 12 hours to set up a “money getting” site, when it could’ve taken you 2… you just lost 10
hours of “profit time”.

Ouch.

It gets worse. Taking a long time to do anything creates a NEGATIVE association to that task.
Therefore, next time you have to do it… you’ll naturally be resistant to it. Because you’ll think of
the last time you did it… how long and cumbersome it was… and pretty soon you’ll find creative
ways to procrastinate on it.

Put this in your mind and keep it there – developing peak productivity is one of the most
valuable skills you can cultivate in your business. And we’re going to show you how to do just
that.

Was Today A Success?
For me yes I hit my goal and surpassed it.
Peak productivity starts with measurement… and one of the best measurements is to know if
today will be a “success” or “failure” for you.

Question: do you know if yesterday was a success or not? The day before? And the day before
that? I do

You should know the answer to that… EVERYDAY.
Here’s how you know if a day was a success or not: if you met the MEASURABLE goal you set for
that day. Set a goal every single day for that.

Developing Peak Productivity

If you follow this one practice alone, your productivity will at least triple. Simple as that.
Long term goals are dead. The chaos of the marketplace and the rapid change we all experience
these days makes long term goals ineffective.

You need short term goals. One a day. So here’s what it looks like. You wake up in the morning.
You know EXACTLY what you need to do THAT day to define the day as a success. Then at the
end of the day you simply look back at your goal…

And ask yourself – did I meet it or not? If you go day after day not meeting your goal – then who
are you kidding? You’re screwed. You either need to change your goals or change how you
approach your goals.

Now, let’s clarify – STUDYING is not doing. Reading an ebook on how to drive traffic is not
actively working to drive traffic. Get it?

See how the nature of that day’s goal practically forces us to be productive? That’s the secret.
Set a goal that will force you to be productive to get the results you need, and then work at it.
Simple as that.

Every single day – you should have a goal for that day. Then you do it. Welcome to the world of
high level productivity.

Have A High Tolerance For Imperfections

There will be times when you don’t write EXACTLY what you wanted to write when you send an
email out to your list. Who cares? As long as you got the basic point across, it doesn’t matter.
GOOD ENOUGH.

There might be a time when you’re setting up a blog LIKE NOW and you want the header to be slightly different… but you tweaked it… and tweaked it… and tweaked it… and you can’t get it there.
Who cares? Is the header really that important? No. Move on.

Tying this to your daily goal will help you out tremendously. If your goal for that day was to
spend 3 hours driving traffic, that’s 3 hours less you have to spend tinkering with other stuff. So
that helps there.

But it goes beyond that – your customers don’t want perfect. They HATE it when you try to be
perfect. Because they’d rather have “good enough” NOW than perfect 4 weeks from now. They
just want the information. They just want the technique.

Here’s what will help you to eliminate this whole “it has to be perfect” problem — you can
always improve it later.

ou can always make it better later. So put it out there and set the goal that two weeks from
now you’ll go back and spend 2 hours improving it. Better to get it out to the market place as
quickly as possible, and THEN improve it based on feedback instead of trying to make it perfect.
You do no one a benefit if you try to make things perfect. Not your customers. Not you. No one.
So work for “good enough” instead.

Here’s the best strategy to force yourself to work for “good enough” – a self-imposed deadline.
Every task worth doing in your business MUST have a deadline attached to it.

And to take it a step further – when that deadline is up, you’re done.
Let me give you an example: say you set a deadline to have a new product finished in the next
48 hours. Guess what? Whatever you have to show for when 48 hours up is what you’re
launching.

If you truly were to follow that principle, you’d make sure you had something that was “good
enough” to launch in 48 hours.

The nature of the deadline MAKES you deal with the most critical elements of a task.
If you don’t have a deadline on a task, then you can focus on ANYTHING for any period of time,
because there is no sense of urgency. I have been doing this since I was a hedge fund manager at 19
48 hours, you’re not going to waste your time on making sure every sentence is
worded perfectly… everything is formatted perfectly… and that you’ve included every single
detail, big and small, in your product.

A 48 hour deadline means that you better focus on delivering GREAT INFO first and
foremost. Then if you have time you can go back and “clean up” some sentences… or improve
the formatting… or add in more stuff.

Here’s a sentence you should put in your brain and keep there – anything worth doing in
business MUST have a deadline attached to it.

Checking email must have a deadline attached to it. Writing a blog post must have a deadline
attached to it. Setting up a website must have a deadline attached to it. Writing a sales letter
must have a deadline attached to it.

ANYTHING worth doing must have a deadline attached to it. You follow this principle, you will
easily triple your productivity. Easily.

All humans are motivated by 6 things. Use all 6 as motivators, and it will more easily propel you
to get things done… to use self-imposed deadlines… to set small daily goals… and to make
constant improvements in your approaches and systems.

These 6 motivators are…
1. The desire to obtain power
2. The fear of losing power
3. The desire to help others
4. The fear of not being able to help others
5. The desire of achievement
6. The fear of not achieving

Any time you feel like you’re burning out, or need some motivation to continue working toward
your small daily goal, just pull out the list of “6 motivators” and go through them real quickly to
give yourself a boost of motivation.

Do this enough and it will become second nature. You’ll eventually unlock your “motivation
code” so you know how to always motivate yourself to get things done.
Result – you will be an unstoppable “goal achieving” machine! I DO THIS EVERY DAY.

Klout Perks Free Money.

Klout Perks: Who Loves Free Stuff!?

Maybe you already have a Klout account or maybe you have only heard about Klout.  Klout looks at your online social influence and gives you a score out of 100.

Networks include Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Tumblr, Instagram and others.  A score of 100 would be an influencial celebrity like Justin Bieber and is unheard of and a 0 would be someone who does not use Facebook or Twitter.
The average score for someone on KLOUT is 20! You are considered pretty influential at 50 a superstar at 60 right around 70 and higher you pretty much know what you are doing and Klout knows it. They reward you like no tomorrow.
Klout rewards you for your social influence. Klout gives you great FREEBIES called Klout Perks!  Some recent Perks have been: FREE large bottles of Clean & Clear body wash, an entire set of Neutrogena Natural body products (with FREE water bottle included), a FREE Schick Hydro Shaver, a FREE full-sized Dove body wash, a mouse pad, key chain, shirts, deck of cards.and much more! Now you are probably like who gives a sh8t right?

I’ll be straight with you. That stuff is fine and dandy but in November 2011 Klout gave away FREE HP Laptops to certain eligible Klout members. And just as the word FREE implies, there is no cost to be a Klout member.

Setting Up Your Klout Account Strategically:
Firstly, you must create an account at www.klout.com  Link your most socially active accounts to Klout.  So, if you are socially active on both Facebook and Twitter, do link both.  However, if you are active on only one and the other is inactive, link only the active one.   Otherwise, your Klout score will be dragged down by the inactive account.

Your Klout Score: What Score Earns Perks? After your Klout account has been set up, you will be given a Klout score from 0-100.  A score of 40 and above is perfect in order to receive Perks, although some Perks are available to any Klout account holders (even ones with marginal scores).  It seems like very good perks start at around the 50 Klout level, with phenomenal perks at the 55 Klout mark and higher. I am currently a 68 and must say the perks I am getting are incredible. Free business cards, 50 dollar gift cards Get to chat with the CEO etc.

Spotify
Klout Perks for everyone! It’s nice that Klout opened up this Perk to everyone.  Others that I know got interested in it right way and still use it though

Axe Hair Product

This is a little Klout Perk. But once again I say it at the store for sale for 8 bucks. I figure if I add up all the free stuff I have received from KLOUT no doubt 500 dollars.

Falling Skies Perk

This was by far the best  I have seen to date.   This perk set out to promote the Falling Skies TV show on TNT. TNT had set up their own leader board and contest and made this a very interactive experience for those who received the perk.
A community sprung out of the perk and a number of Falling Skies “Leader board” lists were created on Twitter. I even made sure to check in on Falling Skies each week so I could keep going with the contest and see how the items I was being sent related to the show. My highest point on the leaderboard was around #10, but I can honestly say that I have connected with all of the other who were in the top 10!
This Klout Perk was both effective in gaining my attention and giving me motivation to talk about it. Everyone at the office had seen the swag from Falling Skies and I know of some people who even watched the show because of it. So, a promotion that caused action and amplification of their message at the same time. I’d have to say that this was a very effective campaign  There have been Perks given out atevery Klout level, so don’t despair if your score is low.

Finding Perks, Catching Perks!  Go to https://klout.com/#/perks to see the latest Perk offerings. Sometimes it is as simple as that to pluck a perk.  Other times, Klout asks for you to have a certain Klout score AND a certain “topic” (for example: api).  A “topic” is supposed to be your expertise in a certain area or areas.  In addition, Klout may specify a certain “strength” in a topic (such as medium, high or strong).

How to Add “Topics” to Klout for Perks?  Topics can be added by: yourself (costs you +5K), another Klout member (costs them +5K) or Klout may add a topic by itself if it notices you discussing a topic regularly (ie: fitness, music, technology).
Increasing Strength in Topics to Earn Klout Perks!  Once you have the necessary Klout topic to earn a Perk, you simply must build the topic strength to match Klout’s Perk requirements.  Klout may do this automatically, or you may ask your Klout peers to vouch for you that you are knowledgeable in this area.  Your Klout peer would then give you one +K in the necessary area.  In this manner, you will watch your topic strength grow.

Giving +K to friends so They Can Earn Perks Too!  Yes, you can also give +K to your Klout peers so they can earn Perks too!  You start off with +10K and earn +5K daily (when you login to Klout).  +K is disposable like money, which can be spent on yourself (adding a topic for +5K) or spent on your peers (giving them +1K in a topic(s) and vouching for their expertise).  You can never have more than +10K at one time.  If your peer vouches for you in a topic, you receive an extra +1K too. Do what I do create a circle of klout friends where you give each other k’s and do this daily.

I think that  Klout Perks  is an awesome way to earn great FREE stuff!  I ask you: if you are already online actively engaging your social networks, why not get PERKED for it!

NOW TO GET THOSE PERKS YOU MUST ADD Google+ it is a serious part of your score mine increased by 17 pts
Since users started connecting their Google+ to Klout in late September,it’s a HUGE addition to the Klout score.  From the get-go, Google+ came with circles, which set boundaries for shared content.

As on Facebook, you can Like content from other users (called a “+1”) and comment on it. People validate your content by +1’ing it.  They can also Reshare it — which will spread it further through your own circles as well as spreading it to their own.

Since it launched, Google+ has seen early adopters crossing over from Twitter and Facebook, especially in the tech industry.  The Reshare, which is in some ways similar to a Retweet, allows Google+ users to comment and discuss topics of interest similarly to Facebook, while having an immediacy of Twitter.
Only, 62% are active on Google+ and therefore should see it affect their Score based on their ability to drive action on that platform.
Google+ and your Score
If you are active on Google+ and have connected your Google+ account to Klout, you will see a Score increase. Regardless of activity level, no user with Google+ connected will see a Score drop. Similarly, we do not penalize users who do not connect Google+ accounts. We measure influence on Google+ by analyzing public posts.
Look at the jump in score when you add google plus
The graph below shows the distribution for active users before and after adding Google+ to their Scores. In the graph below, the x-axis shows ranges of Scores. You’ll note that users active on Google+ tend to have scores between 30 and 60, which is much higher than our overall average Score of 20.

The median Score change for active connected user is 5.1577. They did see some users who have really embraced Google+ as a platform saw Score jumps of up 40+ points. Like I said mine was 17
Comparing Google+ to Twitter and Facebook
Google+ has a hybrid of characteristics from both Twitter and Facebook. Facebook tends to be a tightly connected network, where users are connected to each other based on mutual agreement. You can connect to someone on Facebook only if they have accepted your friend request or vice versa. Twitter is a more loosely connected network because it is possible for you to be connected to someone whom you may not know. For example, you may follow Barack Obama, though he does not know you personally or follow your tweets. Google+ incorporates elements of both models with the use of circles, and is therefore more tightly connected than Twitter, but not as tightly connected as Facebook.

The behavior of users on Google+ based on their other connected networks. The first plot shows how the distribution changed for users who are active on Twitter and Google+ only, the second shows the same for users who are active on Facebook and Google+ only, and the third shows the same for users who are active on all three networks. The last (with all three connected) is the largest group. One observation from these plots is that most active Google+ users are also active on Twitter and Facebook, which is why most users fall in the 30 – 60 Score range, and why you see a smaller change in the last distribution.

Comparing Social Actions on Google+, Twitter, and Facebook
Key similarities:
  • A comment, like or +1 on either Facebook or Google+ is a sign of engagement between the user who posted the content and the user who commented / liked / +1ed it.
  • A +1 on Google+ is similar to a like on Facebook, in the sense that both are validation mechanisms for “approval” of content.
  • A Reshare on Facebook or Google+ or a Retweet on Twitter both propagate the original content to a wider audience.
Salient differences:
  • A comment or a Like on Facebook may cause your content to appear in the news feed of mutual friends. On Google+ a comment or +1 surfaces your content not just to mutual friends but to anyone who has added you to their circles.
  • +1s on Google+ may also cause your content to appear in Google search results.
  • Due to the larger size of the network, a Retweet on Twitter may propagate your content to a wider audience than a Reshare on Google+ or Facebook. On the other hand, a Reshare on Google+ or Facebook may help you engage with an active audience, even if the size of the audience is smaller.
As part of the process of building this scoring model, we found comparisons with other networks helpful, but ultimately we look at each network holistically to create a scoring model.
